WGMHA requirements for on-ice helpers
Submitted By Lieselot Nusselder-Sauer on Wednesday, November 18, 2015
Helpers on the ice will have to adhere WGMHA and OMHA Guidelines.

  • Anyone under the age of 14 has to wear full equipment. Over the age of 14 years, CSA Certified Helmets, skates and gloves etc. are mandatory;
  • On-Ice helpers have to be 2 years older than the division limit.  (eg. Atom helpers have to be in Bantam, Peewee helpers have to be in Midget etc.);
  • Any goal tender helpers participating from outside our organization, regardless of age, have to wear full equipment for insurance/liability reasons.

Thank you, WGMHA Executive
