We were off to Shallow Lake Sat night to finish up the first
round of playoffs. The Warriors and
Lakers were tied for the top position.
The arena was packed, the fans were loud, the energy was high, both
teams were hungry for the win.
Halfway through the first Jude got us on the board. The second had lots of action. Cole D. shook off a rough start and blew one
past the goalie for our second goal. The battle was going back and forth all
game. Jude brought his game to nail his
second and then Oliver gave us the fourth goal.
The score was 4-1 as the zamboni came out for the last period.

The Kincardine Kinucks 2 came to break the tie that we ended
with after our combat in December. The
first period was a battle back and forth.
The refs were right on the whistles and that put us 3 against 5 with
only a few seconds left in the first when
Jacob M. came up from defense, snagged the puck, maneuvered around the
Kinucks, found a hole to snag a piece of the net and left the goalie in shock. The crowd was on their feet and the Warriors
were on the war path. There was a
scramble in front of the net in the second letting Kincardine tie up the game. The fans were on the edge of their seats in
the third. Only 3 minutes left and Colby
S. sniped the goalie and sent the crowd wild to secure our first playoff win.

The West Grey Warriors Pee Wee LL 2 power house took their 15-3-3 record into the weekend to play another strong team from Shallow Lake in a strategically planned first game of a very well managed and terrifically organized South Bruce Pee Wee LL tourney. As this much anticipated first game became known to the area residents, it didn't take long for the seats to fill and for this game to get white hot.
